  • Dr. Kong is currently an Assistant Professor at Undergraduate School of Artificial Intelligence, Shenzhen Polytechnic University.

  • He received his B.S. (2011), M.S. (2014), and Ph.D. (2023) in Computer Science from Shenzhen University (SZU). His supervisor is Prof. Guoliang Chen (CAS Academician), co-supervised by Prof. Mao Rui and Assoc. Prof. Luo Qiuming. After earning his Master’s degree, he served as a Heterogeneous Computing Engineer at Baidu Institute of Deep Learning (IDL) (2014-2015), Department Manager at SenseTime (2015-2017), and T4 Senior Algorithm Expert at Zhejiang Dahua Advanced Technology Research Institute (2017-2018), specializing in R&D and product implementation of high-performance AI algorithms.

  • His research interests include computer vision, multimodal learning, and high-performance computing. Currently, he investigates fine-grained recognition and comprehension challenges within open-vocabulary learning systems. He has published over ten academic papers in international conferences and journals, and served as a reviewer for journals/conferences including IJCV, MM, TCSVT, and Machine Learning. Additionally, he authored a professional textbook and co-translated a technical monograph.
